About Us
The Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center was opened in 1994 to provide a safe, supported, and professional place for women and men making pregnancy and parenting decisions. Since then, the Center has served thousands of parents in and around Shenandoah County, Virginia.
Many abortion clinics offer limited information about pregnancy options. At the Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center, women and men are educated and equipped with medically accurate information about their pregnancy options so they can make informed decisions. We exist to educate about all pregnancy and parenting options so our clients can confidently make an informed choice.
Our Center provides so much more than a one-time pregnancy consultation. We strive to support our clients’ decisions every step of the way through a continuum of care. To do this, the Center provides material assistance, practical educational classes, and support groups and services throughout our client’s pregnancy and parenting journey.
We provide services at no cost because we are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. We are funded by local individuals, foundations, and organizations because they believe in helping the women, men, and families in our community.
